Random slugs are a deliberate security choice. Enough entropy makes links unguessable, which is what keeps a conversation between you and exactly the people you gave the link to. That property is not changing, and a vanity link doesn't touch it: the slug becomes readable, the room behind it stays closed to anyone you didn't give it to.
The problem random slugs actually create is a communication problem. A link you can't say out loud, can't put on paper, and can't remember is a link that only works where paste works. bespoke's whole pitch is "a link people click to talk to you". If the link is the pitch, the words on it should be yours.
