Answer chats as a team
- new A new Team section on your dashboard lets you add teammates by their account email and choose what they see: every conversation, or only the links you pick. New links stay private unless you shared "all links".
- new Teammates get your shared conversations in their own Chats page under "Shared with you", with full history, and reply under their own name. People messaging you see who answered what.
- new Sharing only goes one way: teammates never see anything of yours beyond the links you picked, they can't delete conversations, change your links, or add other people, and removing them takes effect instantly.
- new Unread counts and the mute button are personal: your teammate's badges and notifications are theirs alone, and muting on your side never silences theirs. Push notifications reach everyone on the team unless they muted the chat.
- new Each teammate chats under their own nickname, chosen so it can never collide with yours, the sender's, or another teammate's, even if two of you share a name.
Support inboxes are rarely a one-person job. There's now a Team section on your dashboard: add a teammate by their bespoke account email, pick what they can see, and they're in. Every conversation, or only the links you choose. A link you create later stays private unless you went with "all links", and changing someone's access later is the same form again.
On their side, your shared conversations appear in their own Chats page, grouped under "Shared with you" with your name on the group. Full history, live updates, reply from their own account under their own nickname, so the person messaging you always sees exactly who answered what. No shared password, no passing your dashboard URL around.
Sharing only points one way. A teammate you add gets access to what you picked and nothing else: not your other links, not your account, and nothing of their own is exposed to you. They can't delete conversations, edit your links, or invite further people. Remove them and their access ends immediately and quietly; the conversations simply leave their list.
The small things are per-person, the way a team needs them to be. Unread badges and the mute button belong to each teammate: muting a chat on your side never hides it for them, and their notifications stay their own. When someone writes in, push notifications reach everyone with access who hasn't muted that chat. And each teammate's nickname is chosen to be safely unique, so it can never collide with yours, the sender's, or another teammate's, even when two of you share a display name.
