Account setup after upgrading, on its own page

  • changed If you pay for Pro before having an account, the "finish creating your account" step now opens on its own page right after payment instead of a form tucked into the dashboard. The email field is locked to the address you paid with (confirming you own it happens by email, as always), and there's no character-click check on this page; you just paid. If you step away before finishing, the dashboard's "Create account" banner leads to the same page whenever you return.

You can start paying for bespoke before you have an account: the upgrade button works for anyone, and payment sets up an anonymous account in the background so nothing you paid for is ever lost.

What changed is where you finish. That step used to be a small form inside the dashboard ("Finish creating your account", with your payment email already filled in). It now happens on a page of its own, the same one everyone else uses to add email sign-in, opened automatically the moment payment completes.

Two details worth knowing:

The email field is locked. The address you paid with is the address the account gets; you can't swap in a different one at this step, because owning the account should mean owning the payment address. Confirming you control it still happens the usual way: a link we email you.

There's no character-click check on this page. That check exists to slow down scripted account creation; if you just paid, you're not a script. Everyone else registering the regular way still gets it.

If you close the page before finishing, nothing breaks: your subscription is already attached, and the "Create account" banner on the dashboard leads back to the same page whenever you're ready.
