bespoke.
For freelancers and indie creators

A link people click to talk to you. No account, no app, no friction.

Stop telling people to email or DM you. Put one link on your site, in your bio, on your slides. They click, they type. You answer from an inbox that keeps everything.

See it live: the bubble in the corner of this page is the product.

Three steps. Zero friction for them.

01

Click a link

You hand out a labeled URL. No client install, no account on their side.

02

They just type

Their browser opens a chat. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

03

Your inbox keeps it

Every message lands in your dashboard. Stays there until you delete it, even after they close the tab.

Drop it anywhere people already are.

Your site

One script tag and a launcher appears on the page. Visitors chat without ever leaving it.

Your bio

The link itself works anywhere a link works. Linktree, a social bio, an email signature.

Your slides

A QR code on the closing slide. You get the questions people won’t ask out loud.

One script tag. No iframes to wrangle. No CSS reset to fight.

Drop the embed onto your portfolio, your conference site, your Linktree. Visitors click the launcher and land in your inbox without ever leaving your page. Same chat, same inbox. You just host the door.

<script src="https://app.bespoke.talk/embed.js" data-link="your-link-id" async></script>

// paste before </body>. that's it.

Built for handling many conversations at once.

Multi-chat inbox

One tab, every conversation, live presence and unread counts.

Per-link theming

Match each link to its context with custom CSS.

No account needed

To reach you, someone clicks the link and types. No signup, no app.

Conference rooms

Open a group room anyone can join from one link. Nicknames, avatars, live presence.

Easy for them. Kept for you.

Them

Click and type.

  • No account, no app, nothing to clean up after.

You

Keep everything.

  • Every conversation lands in one inbox and stays until you delete it.
  • Mute a noisy chat, destroy it permanently, or revoke the link itself.

Things people ask.

Do chats disappear? +
Close the tab and their session ends. They can save a return link if they want back in, but they don't have to. Every message lands in your inbox and stays there until you explicitly delete it.
Does someone need an account to message me? +
No. They click the link, the chat opens in their browser, they type. No app, no account, no email. That's the whole pitch.
What about spam and trolls? +
Each link opens into its own isolated room, so abuse never bleeds across your links. Room creation is rate-limited, and you can mute a chat, destroy it permanently, or revoke the link itself when you’re done with it.
What’s the chat built on? +
XMPP, the open messaging standard that has routed chats since 1999, running on a standard server. We host it; we don’t own it. Any standard chat client can talk to your rooms, and nothing about them is proprietary. “No walled gardens” is a design choice, not a slogan.
What can people see when they click my link? +
Just the chat itself. They cannot see your name, your dashboard, or any of your other links. Each link opens into its own isolated room; people from one link never see people from another.
Can I embed bespoke on my own website? +
Yes. See the section above. One <script> tag on any page and a launcher appears. Anyone who clicks it lands in your inbox without leaving your site. Customizable per-link so it matches your branding.
Can I connect from my own XMPP client? +
Yes, but you don't have to. The default web chat works on its own with no setup. If you do want a dedicated client, bespoke runs on standard XMPP. Point Dino (desktop), Conversations (Android), or Gajim at our server. Credentials are generated on demand from the /connect page in your dashboard.
Is bespoke free? +
Yes for the MVP. Every feature, unlimited links, unlimited conversations.
How long are conversations kept? +
Until you delete them. No auto-expiry. Mute a chat to silence notifications without losing history; destroy a chat to remove it permanently (the room is torn down on the XMPP side too).
What if I lose my secret URL? +
That URL is your account. There's no email/password fallback by default. If you signed up with email, you can use the password reset flow. Otherwise: bookmark it. (Secret URLs are 32 random bytes, hashed in our DB. Not guessable.)
